Relationship case study 1
Jack and Melissa came to see me soon after their amazing 2-week honeymoon. They were glowing and buzzing with the renewed love! They started finding issues and couldn't put a finger on it! They are somehow aggravating each other without even knowing it!
Jack was an admin-analytical type. Melissa was from the magnetic world! He is a warrior and she was very parental and caring.
Did you fall in love with each other because you felt like the other person was from a far away planet? I asked. They both softly agreed. This is one thing about romantic relationships. We usually fall in love with a different force - 'a force from another planet'! |
Jack, when you ask 'when did you come back from her friend's yesterday', does she respond 'I don't know, maybe it was around lunchtime, I guess'? I wanted to know.
Exactly, every time, every single time - this drives me mad - Jack went loud and red. Melissa, do you think Jack has become increasingly analytical and critical about you lately? A little question again from me. Melissa is now in tears! |
In a way, it is a typical man-woman thing.
I showed them how they were impressed in their initial part of the relationship and how to continue to cater for each other with simple methods. Did a few little exercises and asked them to continue to use them at home. The follow up was a lot shorter as they have imbibed these little exercises their daily romantic rituals! |
Relationship case study 2
An ideal work relationship is to help two people understand themselves and each other. This helped them join their different forces effectively! Here is a little story.
John got his constitutional type worked out, and started to see his behavioural patterns easily. He was excited. 'Transformative' - John said!
He also came across the factor that his colleague, Tom, is different with his unique constitution with its views. |
Tom did the same in the first session. The next step was getting them to work on combining their skills!
It is like combining two totally different salt and pepper appropriately for the right flavour - Tom said. |
It took a few short team building sessions before they started working like a brake and an accelerator of a Benz car!
Completely different roles, but a fantastic harmonious team! |
